It’s February 27th, 2010, Downtown, Houston and I’m getting geared up. Working on the costume for me and the hubby. We’re the Goose Monkey Pirates. I can’t wait. I super duper excited about it. One of the main reasons for me wanting to do the this race is to show the hubby that I am a worthy partner if he ever did Amazing Race. He thinks if we get into an argument during the race, I’ll keep it as emotional baggage and weigh it over his head and we would lose the race. However, I do no think that would happen. So this little race will hopefully prove him wrong!

Yummy lunch

Can you do #2 in front of your partner?
I’ve been with my hubby for over 10 years. Out of those 10 years, we’ve been married and living together for 4 years. Still, to this day, we cannot go #2 with the other in the room. It’s not like my deeds smell horrific or anything, it’s just that I don’t want him to be around to witness this, even though everyone does it. The whole time, I would keep thinking, “can he hear me?” “can he smell anything?” “what does he think of me now?” The funny thing is, he can’t go if I’m in the next room either, probably thinking the same things. When we travel, we make the other turn the TV on while in the can. I just need to be able to concentrate and get out without wondering if he’ll still love me the same afterwards.
