I recently turned the big 3-0. I have to admit, my schedule of things I wanted to happen before I turned 30 didn’t all happen. While I won’t dwell on that, I’m happy to be healthy and enjoying life. Maybe people are right, 30 is the new 20! After spending time on a cruise with a bunch of college spring breakers, I’m glad I’m not a “kid” anymore. I am much happier now that I’m older and wiser and living with the love of my life! Here are some pictures from the big day.

Birthday dinner
I’ve been on the hunt for “free” food for my birthday. I have a slew of coupons for free ice cream, free dessert, $10 off of $40, etc. Last night we feasted at Benihana’s all you can eat sushi. Oh boy, I think we did ourselves in. We were only able to go two rounds, but at the end of one, we were stuffed to the max. But we forced ourselves to go at least two rounds to get our money’s worth. It was good, not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but free sushi is free sushi. Can’t beat that. Then afterwards, we went to baskin robbins for my free scoop of ice cream. It will be a month of free foods!
