Day 25: Something Pink

I’m not a girlie girl by any means, but I’m not a plain jane either. I can say truthfully that I do not own many things pink or purple. So finding something pink to photograph was a bit difficult. I did manage to find, hidden away behind some floss, was my pink tomato pushpin.

Day 24: Animal

This one is easy. I have a wonderful animal that loves me dearly and her name is Sadie. She’s a little munchkin that I love dearly. She’s always eager for her two walks in a day. Just looking at her makes me smile. I hope she does the same for you.

Day 23: Sunflare

It’s a bit difficult to do a sunflare when it’s overcast outside. I did manage to sneak away some photos before it was completely undoable but it was early in the morning so the sun was a bit high and harsh.

Day 22: Hands

I’ve always been self-conscience of my hands. They’ve always been bony and crooked, not the most elegant feminine hands but they do the job. Below are hands from my good friend Dan, breaking some What-a-burger fries. Thanks Dan!

Day 21: Faceless Self-Portrait

Saturday was a lazy, sleep all day, kind of day. I had a splitting headache that would not go away. But I did manage to snap some photos of myself before seeing my family for dinner.

Day 20: Bokeh

I love taking bokeh photos, it’s just so fun and creative. Makes you think outside the box. Below are some christmas lights strung about on a glass chess board with the pieces on it.

Day 19: Something orange

I’ve seen this bottle and many others like it for more than half my life. This bottle has followed me since I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 16. After countless medications and treatments, I am still plagued with this little orange bottle. But, it’s not as bad as it was 16 years ago. I’m able to move around and do things “normal” people can do since I’m on the right treatment. I’ve never cursed my life but I am appreciative of the many blessings that I have in my life. I may never be at the front of the pack, but slow and steady always wins the race.

Day 18: Your Shoes

Here are my lovely, bright pink shoes. They are a bit too pink for my taste, but with feet that need comfort, these do the job. These are my everyday shoes. I wear them to walk Sadie twice a day, that’s almost 2 miles everyday. That is more than what I used to do and I thank her everyday for getting me up and moving. Without her incessant need to be walked, and she knows at what time everyday she’s due for one, I don’t think I’d be moving around as much as I am today. Thank you to my Sadie!

Day 17: Technology

I’m surrounded by technology, from my computer to my phone, it’s hard to pick a subject when one is inundated with such technology. Below is a photo of my most treasured piece of technology, my backup harddrive named “Monkey”. Thank goodness for my monkey, that’s all I can say!

Day 16: Long Exposure

With help from the hubby and a glow stick, I was able to get a long exposure shot. Looks like glowing hands to me, what do you see?
