I’ve always been self-conscience of my hands. They’ve always been bony and crooked, not the most elegant feminine hands but they do the job. Below are hands from my good friend Dan, breaking some What-a-burger fries. Thanks Dan!

Day 21: Faceless Self-Portrait

Saturday was a lazy, sleep all day, kind of day. I had a splitting headache that would not go away. But I did manage to snap some photos of myself before seeing my family for dinner.

Day 20: Bokeh

I love taking bokeh photos, it’s just so fun and creative. Makes you think outside the box. Below are some christmas lights strung about on a glass chess board with the pieces on it.

Day 12: Sunset

I did not forgot today’s challenge, I was just merely waiting for the right time to take the photo. Today’s challenge was to photograph the sunset, and what a beautiful one it was.

Day 8 :: A Bad Habit

Oh boy, this was a tough one. I’d like to think of myself as on the up and up. I most often make the right choices in life. But, my biggest weakness is chocolate. I’ve been on this crazy diet since May of 2011 that restricts everything sweet. While at the farmer’s market, I met a nice gentleman that was selling homemade cakes and he even offered a gluten-free option. I had to try it and boy was it moist and delicious. I have not finished the cake yet, trying to savor it for as long as I can but boy is it good!

For today’s shot, I had to wait for the hubby to come home to help me set up the shot with my Sadie. She’s such a patient little doll.

I apologize for the late post but I had a lot of difficulty thinking of a subject matter for this challenge. I decided to photograph my sewing machine. I’m always sitting in front of the thing and looking at it from the front but never have I seen what it would look like from above. Very interesting indeed.

Day 4 :: Something Green

Today’s challenge was a little difficult but after looking out my window to look at my garden, it was a piece of cake. Surprisingly enough, most of my garden survived through some of the cold temperatures. The photo is of a green onion stalk.

Day 3 :: Clouds

Today’s challenge was a difficult one, not a cloud in the sky. It was a cool 54°F outside with clear blue skies. So without a real cloud in the sky, I had to do some creative thinking.

Today’s challenge was to take a picture of what I was wearing. It was a lazy kind of day. We went to play with my nephew since the hubby had the day off. A great day to be outside.
