I didn’t always want to become a graphic designer. I took one art class in 8th grade and I wasn’t that good. My career path was leading me towards business, but half-way through the classes, I realized there was something more I was craving. I wanted to create. My passion for design began.

After graduating from the University of Houston with a BFA in Graphic Coummincations, I began my career at Tribe Design. It was here where I refined my design skills and broadened my skill set with web design and programming. After awhile, I was craving more, something a little different, so I tried my hand at advertising with Freed Advertising. The time at Freed brought a new perspective to my designs, how to sell while still creating beautiful pieces. Yet, I was craving more.

When I began my journey towards graphic design, my goal to fuel my passion was to design from the heart. And so, sugar rush creative was born; a full-service design firm that specializes in custom invitations, logos, business cards, print collateral, websites and photography that evokes passion and engages the viewer.
